So far we've got a nice mix of colors, each a predominantly brown, yellow and grey with other colors mixed in.
When grown, Easter Egger pullets will lay blue/green eggs... hence the name!
And we are planning on keeping a rooster this time...

A collection of thoughts, anecdotes and events as seen through my eyes. Meant to be a sometimes light-hearted, sometimes painfully crude, edgy and amusing documentation of my walk through life. Names have been changed to protect the innocent. The author reserves the right to rant about all subjects and take all sides of any argument, even those, not of his own opinion. Let's have some fun and try not to give me cancer, please!

Now might be a good time to set your limit on the number of new Churks you'll keep. I can't help but remember the first horse that my step-mother bought. She just wanted one. Then one more to breed and they would sell the babies. I think they're at 23 now?
Or the lady that loves cats and rescues them to only have 50 removed from her home a few sad years later. By then she's known as the "crazy cat lady" down the street.
Just something to think about...
